About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on imaging equipment
- Maintain, inspect and repair imaging equipment for customer accounts
- Service client imaging locations in Long Island, NYC, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island
- Perform scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging equipment
- Repair, install and calibrate complex medical imaging equipment devices and systems
- Inform managers about repair status, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and customer concerns
- Inspect inventory status and maintain common failure parts inventory to ensure equipment uptime
- Direct and document subcontractor, vendor, and outside service technician activities
- Provide accurate service reporting and documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of experience in the CT or MRI modality required
- Experience with MRI, CT and Xray a must
- Experience with multiple modalities preferred
- A.S. Degree from an accredited school in electronics or DOD certification or equivalent experience
- 5+ years working with Diagnostic Imaging Medical Equipment
- Experience working in medical facilities in a professional manner
- Ability to perform orderly and efficient work while adhering to medical facility policy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to travel for work
