Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts, events, and monitoring-system notifications
- Research, resolve, document, and communicate internal and client incidents within defined SLA targets
- Provide internal and external managed-services infrastructure support
- Perform network troubleshooting and configuration
- Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365
- Administer Azure virtual machines, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and identity services
- Support VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V environments
- Act as a technical escalation point for other support teams
- Participate in major incident response, root cause analysis, and change management activities
- Maintain diagrams, documentation, procedures, and asset information
- Utilize PowerShell and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical troubleshooting efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of infrastructure, systems, networking
- 3-5 years managed-services support experience preferred
- Experience supporting Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and virtualization technologies
- Experience working from alerts through escalation, resolution, and documentation
- Intermediate-level network troubleshooting and configuration, including Meraki, Cisco, VPNs, switching, routing, wireless, and firewalls
- Intermediate-level Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting
- Intermediate-level Azure administration including virtual machines, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and identity services
- Support VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V environments
- Experience with LogicMonitor, NinjaOne, ConnectWise PSA, IT Glue, or similar platforms preferred
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery preferred
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience preferred
- Excellent customer service, documentation, organization, and prioritization skills preferred
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical troubleshooting efforts preferred
- Preferred certifications include Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and VMware or Microsoft 365 Certifications
