About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Select orders based on priorities provided by the area lead or supervisor
- Measure raw materials before processing
- Hold parts to quality specifications and perform in-process audits during cycle runs
- Follow established procedures for running and checking grind lines
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot centerless grinders, infeed robot cells, and chamfer robot cells
- Resolve issues related to quality specifications using blueprints
- Separate, identify, and report nonconforming products
- Document production information on paperwork and in the MII reporting system
- Perform daily housekeeping and routine machine maintenance using the CLI checklist
- Train new operators when required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the area lead or supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizen or US Permanent Resident status required for consideration
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot centerless grinders, infeed robot cells, and chamfer robot cells
- Ability to measure raw materials and hold parts to quality specifications
- Ability to identify and report nonconforming products
- Ability to accurately document paperwork and use the MII reporting system
- Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and daily housekeeping
- Ability to train new operators when required
