Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct dimensional inspection of pump components and fabricated parts using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators
Perform visual inspections for cracks, porosity, surface irregularities, and welding defects
Execute NDT activities including DPI, RT, and UT
Verify vendor manufacturing processes against approved drawings and specifications
Review vendor inspection reports, calibration certificates, and NDT reports
Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective action requests

Requirements

What you’ll need

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
4 to 5 years of professional experience
Knowledge and familiarity with measuring instruments for linear and geometric dimensions (GD&T)
Knowledge of instrument calibration
Knowledge of machining and fabrication processes
Awareness of NDT testing
Ability to understand machining drawings
