Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement advanced, scalable frameworks to validate software functionality and performance across platforms
- Develop and lead test strategies for complex software applications and various testing types
- Lead and mentor junior team members on test automation, best practices, and testing methodologies
- Lead testing efforts for one or more platforms
- Collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve defects and issues
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing
- Identify, record, and track software bugs and defects
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance and automate testing in CI/CD pipelines and stabilize test environments
- Use data analytics and reporting tools to provide quality insights and improve QA
- Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies
- Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements and risks
- Stay current with testing tools, strategies, and best practices
- Coordinate with geographically distributed teams
- Use approved AI-assisted tools for coding/scripting, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, technical research, and related work; review and validate AI-generated outputs
- Support adoption and expansion of AI technologies by evaluating tools, uses, and processes
- Participate in other projects or duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required
- Seven (7) plus years of experience
- Proven work experience as a Sr. Software Development Engineer or similar role
- Expert in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD)
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Expert in mobile, API, and database testing
- Extensive knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Extensive knowledge of software development and testing methodologies
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript), with ability to design and build automation framework
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven leadership skills to lead junior and mid-level team members
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience accepted
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
