Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Patient Safety program across ModMed specialty-specific product and service areas
- Identify and analyze patient safety and risk impacts within EHR software, acquired platforms, and other ModMed entities
- Collaborate with Patient Safety Leadership, Product Management, Product Development, Legal, Medical Directors, and Client Services on patient safety incidents and issues
- Manage Jira Cloud patient safety dashboards, including ticket triage, data integrity, and risk reporting
- Compile and analyze patient safety and risk data to identify themes, trends, and opportunities
- Conduct patient safety audits and analyze audit findings
- Assist with coordination of the Patient Safety Committee and governance meetings
- Collaborate on Root Cause Analysis action items, recommend solutions, track progress, and report status
- Present patient safety training and education to teams in the US, Germany, and India
- Advise internal stakeholders regarding Patient Safety and Compliance
- Follow up on findings and recommend system or workflow modifications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Pharmacy
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- Minimum of quality and/or patient safety experience
- CPPS and/or CPHQ preferred
- If the candidate does not possess CPPS or CPHQ, certification must be acquired within 2 years in the role
