About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather subscription management, pricing, charging, invoicing, receivables, and collections requirements
- Configure and maintain mass activity variants for billing, invoicing, printing, and automatic clearing across UAT and production landscapes
- Configure and support subscription products, subscription orders, contracts, renewals, cancellations, and contract amendments
- Architect end-to-end quotation solutions in SOM
- Configure downstream document generation for sales orders, billable items, and subscription contracts
- Design and configure recurring, one-time, and usage-based charging logic, charge plans, pricing logic, and related charging objects
- Configure and support billable item processing, billing, invoicing, invoice grouping, corrections, reversals, adjustments, and billing exceptions
- Configure and support business partners, contract accounts, main and sub transactions, and account determination
- Implement receivables processes including incoming payments, payment allocation, clearing, returns, refunds, and dunning
- Collaborate with finance teams on FI-CA integration with the general ledger and period-end activities
- Design functional flows in SOM for a mass upload framework importing master agreements from legacy environments
- Develop high-performance S/4HANA information models using ADT, CDS Views, AMDP methods, and OData Services
- Serve as a subject matter expert for S/4HANA BRIM CI and FI-CA
- Create and model custom CIT and BIT classes, billing/sub-processes, and selection/grouping variants
- Design and implement master subscription programs using the ODI framework and BTMF classes
- Process complex payload requests from satellite systems and synchronize non-SAP systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of experience in SAP
- At least 3–4 full life-cycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA BRIM (SOM, CC, CI, FI-CA) and legacy CRM environment
- Experience managing end-to-end blueprinting, business process mapping, configuration, custom enhancement, and post-go-live support
- Expert SAP ABAP development skills
- SAP BRIM technical expertise
- SAP BRIM functional expertise
- Strong SAP Fiori skills
- SAP S/4HANA BRIM (SOM) experience
- Experience with complex implementations across Technology, Retail, Travel and logistics domains
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA BRIM modules including SOM, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, and FI-CA
- Experience developing CDS Views, AMDP methods, and OData Services using ADT
- Experience creating and modeling custom Consumption Item (CIT) and Billable Item (BIT) classes, billing/sub-processes, and selection/grouping variants
- Experience with Order Distribution Infrastructure (ODI) framework and BTMF classes
- Remote work from the USA
