Key responsibilities & impact- Design, produce, test and implement working software across the system lifecycle

Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience working with Continuous Deployment practices in production environments
- Experience building and operating services using Spring Boot in cloud native environments
- Automation as a core engineering principle
- Front-end experience using React
- Familiarity with Node.js and Backend for Frontend (BFF) patterns
- Ability to design and deliver robust, scalable and resilient systems
- Ability to contribute to engineering standards and practices across the platform
- Exposure to agentic coding practices would be beneficial
- Ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues
- Experience building modern, responsive UIs with React and TypeScript
- Experience using shared component libraries and feature flags for continuous delivery and progressive rollout
- Strong understanding of accessibility and performance
- Experience optimising React rendering patterns, API design, and frontend performance
- Experience designing and building BFF services using Node.js such as Next.js
- Solid grounding in API and microservice design patterns
- Familiarity with Kafka and event-driven architectures is advantageous
- Experience working in empowered, autonomous teams aligned to product outcomes
