About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Treat patients via telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
- Participate in continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
- Apply clinical training to provide exceptional virtual patient care
- Care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year as part of One Medical’s Virtual Medical Team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
- Active NCCPA certification
- In the past 5 years, at least 2 years practicing as an Advanced Practitioner in outpatient primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine, seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- At least 6 months of the required 2 years in primary care
- Currently licensed in North Carolina, with ability to obtain additional state licenses
- Must have PA Team-Based Practice status
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday
- Ability to work shifts ranging from 6am–5pm EST, 11am–10pm EST, or 1pm–12am EST
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
