Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and take ownership of complex integration scenarios on the SAP Business Technology Platform using the SAP Integration Suite
- Assume technical solution architecture responsibility for integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, such as S/4HANA, cloud, and on-premises systems
- Advise clients on integration strategies, architectural approaches, best practices, and technology decisions
- Act as the technical point of contact and trusted advisor throughout the project
- Analyze business and technical requirements and develop robust integration concepts
- Ensure the quality, maintainability, performance, and scalability of solutions
- Analyze complex error scenarios, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing integrations
- Provide subject-matter mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing for Associate and Consultant colleagues
- Contribute to the continuous development of the integration portfolio and methodology
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of professional experience in SAP integration
- Extensive hands-on experience with the SAP Integration Suite, particularly Cloud Integration (iFlows), Event Mesh, monitoring, error analysis, and performance optimization
- Solid understanding of integration and solution architecture
- Strong knowledge of integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, OData, JSON, XML, and HTTP
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting, security aspects (OAuth and certificates), and hybrid scenarios is an advantage
- Experience with MuleSoft, SAP BTP, and related services is desirable
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Completed degree in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, business, or a comparable qualification
- Confident, structured, and solution-oriented manner when working with clients
- Enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting the development of colleagues, and taking responsibility
- Willingness to travel to end-client sites for projects
