About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sell Merchant Services and Treasury Management products to small businesses with up to $2MM in annual revenue
- Prospect and discuss payment products with small-business clients
- Work virtually with branch managers and staff in assigned territories to obtain leads, or take queue-line calls and sell products through activation
- Position payment solutions, including card processing and cash management solutions
- Acquire and grow new and existing clients through direct marketing and branch distribution networks
- Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships by presenting PNC solutions focused on payment needs
- Provide recommendations and insights supporting engagement, loyalty, and financial well-being
- Identify and implement solutions for clients’ processing and cash-management needs
- Build an internal network within the branch distribution enterprise to acquire and expand clients
- Execute contact-management strategies using available tools and resources
- Meet with internal business partners to communicate and review pipeline management and business results
- Develop an understanding of the payments landscape and assess risk exposure based on industry modeling
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven sales track record in Merchant Services and Treasury Management products to small businesses
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities appropriate for the role
- University/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program, typically required at this level
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Associate-level education listed
- Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm PST
- Must be camera ready throughout the day and work on and off camera
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
- No employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT participation
- Must work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if approved for remote work
