About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support clinical research programs across the Providence Health System
- Develop Medicare Coverage Analyses for clinical trial protocols that include billable services
- Complete comprehensive Medicare Coverage Analyses aligned with Medicare's Clinical Trial Policy
- Apply national medical guidelines, local practice guidelines, peer-reviewed publications, and local and national coverage determinations
- Ensure analyses encompass all billable services within clinical trial protocols
- Partner with CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies
- Report to the Coverage Analysis Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field or 4 years additional related experience
- 2 years direct experience in Coverage Analysis development and interpretation of Medicare requirements for research
- Must reside in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California, within reasonable commuting distance of Levelland, Lubbock or Plainview, Texas, or within reasonable commuting distance of Hobbs, New Mexico
- Must uphold standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality
