About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide accurate and timely product selection guidance based on customer requirements.
- Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, including Product Design, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Communicate professionally across multiple channels, including phone, email, and video conferencing.
- Deliver basic post-sales support, including troubleshooting and resolving technical inquiries.
- Leverage internal resources (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Shipping) to address and resolve customer needs.
- Prepare and document pricing proposals for modified or customized product configurations.
- Support field sales teams in managing accounts and driving product direction, profitability, growth, and achievement of sales objectives.
- Contribute to the development of standard procedures and policies that promote lean office practices and performance metrics.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- Prior exposure to application engineering or technical support is preferred (entry level).
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
- Solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
