Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Clinical Study Lead by taking responsibility for areas of clinical trial delivery
- Collaborate with internal study teams and external vendors such as CROs
- Lead or oversee planning and management of clinical studies in assigned regions and contribute to global study planning
- Contribute to risk assessment, risk mitigation, and feasibility assessments
- Oversee development and review of study-specific documentation and patient-facing start-up materials
- Oversee setup and maintenance of CTMS and TMF systems
- Contribute to investigator meeting preparation and execution
- Oversee vendor engagement, contracting, and management
- Oversee study drug and clinical supplies forecasting, accountability, and reconciliation
- Provide status reports and oversee recruitment and retention strategies
- Monitor recruitment, retention, site activation, and monitoring visits
- Support data quality reviews and escalate data flow and quality issues
- Oversee study deliverables against timelines and support budget management and scope changes
- Contribute to audit and inspection readiness and support inspection activities and CAPAs
- Manage study close-out activities including database lock, vendor contract reconciliation, study budget, TMF, and study drug accountability
- Mentor clinical trial management staff as needed
- Perform assigned unmasked study tasks when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant industry experience
- Data-driven approach to executing and problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Technical proficiency in trial management systems and MS applications including Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, IVRS/IWRS, EDC, and TMF
- Budget awareness and ability to participate in budget management
- Familiarity with medical terms
- Vendor management experience
- Experience in clinical trial operations, including developing key study documents
- Knowledge of ICH/GCP and regulatory guidelines/directives
- May require 25% travel
