About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead major programs spanning multiple business areas, products, regions, or functions
- Define program strategy, objectives, roadmap, operating model, governance, decision rights, and integrated delivery plan
- Manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, constraints, and change impacts
- Establish mitigation and contingency plans, remove blockers, and escalate material decisions
- Partner with sponsors and business owners to define value and success measures
- Track benefits, adoption, readiness, and post-launch performance
- Frame options, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend paths forward using business, customer, financial, operational, and delivery data
- Align senior stakeholders on priorities, scope, sequencing, resources, and outcomes
- Provide decision-oriented communication to executives, delivery teams, and partners
- Lead change management activities, including impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, readiness, and adoption
- Mentor project managers and delivery professionals
- Use approved AI and automation tools to improve program planning, research, risk identification, reporting, and delivery activities
- Improve end-to-end ways of working, test new approaches, define success measures, and scale effective practices
- Help teams adopt new tools and ways of working
- Challenge unclear outcomes, unsupported assumptions, duplicative work, and misaligned delivery approaches
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of progressive project and program management experience
- Independent leadership of complex, cross-functional programs or multiple related projects
- Ability to create program strategy, integrated plans, governance, and executive decision structures in ambiguous environments
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders, negotiating priorities and resources, resolving cross-functional conflict, and leading without direct authority
- Experience managing program risks, dependencies, budgets or investments, delivery performance, change impacts, and benefits or outcome measures
- Exceptional written, verbal, facilitation, and executive communication skills
- Ability to translate complex information into clear decisions and actions
- Experience using data and modern project, collaboration, automation, or AI-enabled tools
- Working knowledge of responsible AI practices, including output validation, human oversight, data protection, transparency, and appropriate escalation
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
