About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead major programs spanning multiple business areas, products, regions, or functions.
- Define program strategy, objectives, roadmap, operating model, governance, decision rights, and integrated delivery plan.
- Manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, constraints, change impacts, mitigation plans, and escalations.
- Partner with sponsors and business owners to define value and success measures; track benefits, adoption, readiness, and post-launch performance.
- Frame options, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend paths forward using business, customer, financial, operational, and delivery data.
- Align senior stakeholders on priorities, scope, sequencing, resources, and outcomes; resolve conflicts and influence decisions without direct authority.
- Provide decision-oriented communication to executives, delivery teams, and partners.
- Lead change management activities, including impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, readiness, and adoption.
- Mentor project managers and delivery professionals.
- Use approved AI and automation tools to improve program planning, research, risk identification, synthesis, reporting, and delivery activities while maintaining information quality and integrity.
- Identify opportunities to improve end-to-end ways of working, test new approaches, define success measures, and scale effective practices.
- Support adoption of new tools and ways of working and challenge unclear outcomes, unsupported assumptions, duplicative work, or misaligned delivery approaches.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of progressive project and program management experience, including independent leadership of complex, cross-functional programs or multiple related projects.
- Demonstrated ability to create program strategy, integrated plans, governance, and executive decision structures in ambiguous environments.
- Proven success influencing senior stakeholders, negotiating priorities and resources, resolving cross-functional conflict, and leading without direct authority.
- Strong experience managing program risks, dependencies, budgets or investments, delivery performance, change impacts, and benefits or outcome measures.
- Exceptional written, verbal, facilitation, and executive communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear decisions and actions.
- Experience using data and modern project, collaboration, automation, or AI-enabled tools to improve program delivery and decision support.
- Working knowledge of responsible AI practices, including output validation, human oversight, data protection, transparency, and appropriate escalation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
