Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to inform analytical methods and assumptions
- Execute advanced finite element analyses, including nonlinear multibody simulations with deformable contact and multi-physics
- Develop and automate simulation techniques using custom programming tools

- Build and validate analytical models to support research and development initiatives

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience
- Experience in modeling and simulation-based research
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
- Preferred: Experience in the medical device industry
- Preferred: Proficiency with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, Hyperworks), CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer), and programming languages (e.g., Matlab, Python, Fortran)
- Preferred: Familiarity with musculoskeletal simulation platforms (e.g., OpenSim)
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to contribute to complex research initiatives from concept to recommendation
- Preferred: Knowledge of mechanics, engineering principles, and product development processes
- Candidates must live within commuting distance of the Mahwah office
