About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take end-to-end responsibility for all project stages, including discovery, design, development, and handover to support
- Understand technology-related issues to deliver the best possible client solutions
- Discuss technical details with the team and external client
- Manage in-house and remote mobile, backend, and web-frontend development teams
- Apply business-level understanding of architecture, APIs, and CI/CD
- Use change management skills to handle unforeseen edge cases
- Explain functions to non-technical people and translate business requirements for technical teams
- Create functional specifications, detailed timelines, delivery plans, risk assessments, dependency assessments, and mitigation plans
- Facilitate sprint planning and development processes
- Track project budget, scope, and schedule
- Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain alignment among clients, developers, and teams from discovery through delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years leading end-to-end projects in mobile, backend, or web frontend
- Experience delivering a software project successfully over a 9–12 month timeframe
- Experience practicing agile methodologies, including facilitating daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies
- Application of best practices from a range of project management methodologies
- Experience using Jira, Slack, GitHub, and GitLab
- Fluent English communication within an international team
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including negotiation expertise
- Strong client and account management skills
- Ability to take full ownership of products from initial idea to polished digital experiences
- People-first mindset with ability to prioritize team morale and shield the team from uncertainty
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful technical outcomes
- Business-level understanding of architecture, APIs, and CI/CD
