About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop a team of eight employees, both professionally and disciplinarily
- Manage day-to-day operations, set priorities, and ensure compliance with quality standards, service levels, and deadlines
- Serve as the central point of contact for Key Account Management and relevant cross-functional teams
- Oversee the maintenance of key account master data, customer contracts, price lists, and sales-related KPIs
- Ensure the professional onboarding of new customer accounts and the successful support of existing accounts
- Prepare analyses, reports, and decision-making materials for customer and performance reviews
- Drive the further development of reporting and analytics tools, particularly in the Power BI environment
- Optimize processes, implement improvement measures, and contribute to cross-functional projects, such as tender management and e-procurement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed commercial training or a degree, such as in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
- Extensive experience in inside sales, key account support, sales operations, or pricing
- Several years of leadership experience, ideally in a disciplinary management role
- Enjoy working with numbers and analytics and making data-driven decisions
- Experience with Power BI is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with confidence in working with a range of stakeholders
- Experience in tender management or e-procurement is a plus
- Very good German skills and, ideally, good English skills
- Good SAP skills, ideally in the SD module, as well as very strong Excel skills
