About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the design of Toast's Marketing Tools for restaurants
- Design surfaces used to reach guests, run campaigns, and understand performance
- Design tools forming the foundation for agentic marketing products operated by or alongside AI agents
- Set direction for Marketing Tools rather than taking requirements only as a specification
- Partner with a PM, engineering lead, and designers across CRM, Websites, Online Ordering, and agentic teams
- Help shape measurement of product success
- Redefine mature tools for an agent-assisted future
- Collaborate with the Guest Design team and remotely distributed product designers, researchers, design operations leaders, and product managers
- Travel occasionally for team and planning sessions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in a product design role
- Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of shipped work
- Experience redesigning mature product lines
- Strong systems thinking across multiple tools, workflows, and entry points
- Fluency in Figma
- Comfort prototyping with AI tools
- Experience working with PMs and Engineering in a triad
- Experience running independent research
- Experience using usage, funnel, or experiment data to make and defend design decisions
- Experience with B2B or SMB products, ideally in marketing, CRM, or growth
- EST preferred
- Ability to collaborate across U.S. and Ireland time zones
