Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with documenting current business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing process models or workflow diagrams
- Help document business and functional requirements, defect user stories, and supporting information under experienced Business Analysts' guidance
- Use process modeling, data analysis, and requirements management software to prepare materials and document stakeholder needs
- Track questions, decisions, and action items
- Assist with researching and documenting production support issues
- Gather information from business users and technical teams and track issues through resolution
- Identify and recommend business process changes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including waterfall and agile methodologies
- Create and maintain process documentation, requirements artifacts, meeting notes, release notes, quick reference guides, and other solution-delivery and adoption materials
- Comply with proper internal controls
- Perform special projects and other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a related major
- Coursework in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Business Analytics disciplines
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills; able to work constructively and collaboratively with varied people and groups
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and skills
- Ability to manage multiple, competing, frequently changing, time-sensitive deadlines and priorities
- Hands-on knowledge of MS O365
- Familiarity with SharePoint, MS Copilot, Azure DevOps (ADO), ServiceNow, Modern Requirements, or other software supportive of Business Analysis is preferred
