About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Procure IT hardware, software products, services, and other offerings from a variety of suppliers
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms, monitor price changes, and maintain pricing histories and standard configurations
- Follow, update, and provide input on procurement processes and policies
- Understand technical differences between products, services, usage types, and licensing types
- Present procurement information to decision makers
- Track contract and license expirations and plan renewal negotiations
- Manage capacity, logistics, product lead times, and international logistics capability
- Establish multiple supplier sources to build supply-chain redundancy and diversity
- Resolve product, usage, and licensing issues and manage supplier disputes
- Review invoices for accuracy
- Analyze supplier spending trends to identify savings and improvements
- Track and report key functional metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams across the procurement-to-delivery process
- Control spend and promote long-term procurement cost savings
- Work consistently with 11:11 Systems' Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
- Responsibly handle company data and information
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Report to the IT Procurement Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in IT field, procurement, supply chain management, logistics, or related field
- 5+ years working in procurement or supply chain, preferably within information technology resources
- Superior knowledge of contracted IT services, including SaaS applications, outsourced data center services, carrier services, and software licensing
- Excellent contract and pricing negotiation skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience collecting and analyzing data, then reporting on data to decision makers
- Ability to build strong relationships with key vendors
- Must be legally eligible to work without visa sponsorship
- Prior experience working in license management or other applicable accounting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of contracted IT services preferred
- Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
- Ability to comply with company data handling agreements, work procedures, policies, data privacy practices, annual compliance training, and policy acknowledgements
