About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive end-to-end delivery, system administration, and continuous optimization of enterprise AI SaaS platforms
- Partner with business, technology, security, and vendor stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and implement scalable AI-enabled solutions
- Oversee AI SaaS platform administration, including configuration, user provisioning, access management, licensing, integrations, and maintenance
- Monitor platform performance, availability, usage, and adoption; coordinate incident resolution, system updates, and change management
- Track milestones, performance metrics, risks, and dependencies; provide regular status reporting and resolve delivery impediments
- Participate in solution design, technical discussions, testing, and deployment planning
- Coordinate stakeholder engagements, operational readiness activities, and implementation plans
- Navigate evolving AI technologies through innovative problem-solving, adaptability, sound judgment, and decisive execution
- Champion technology adoption and organizational change through strategic partnerships and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead and mentor Technology Delivery colleagues where applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical subject area, or equivalent work experience, is preferred
- 6+ years of hands-on technical experience across complex systems and platforms, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and high-impact solutions
- Deep understanding of software and infrastructure design principles with a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams on complex projects
- Experience using Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development team concepts to deliver technology solutions meeting customer expectations for timeliness and quality
- Knowledge and experience using Agile management tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar platforms
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal abilities; ability to communicate across third parties and technical and business teams
- Experience clarifying objectives, dealing with ambiguity or under-defined problems, advocating for simplification, and influencing teams
- Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation
- Proven willingness to learn new technologies
- PMI and/or Scrum Master Certification is a plus
- Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship
