Key responsibilities & impact- Own ChromeOS as a platform at Anthropic, including device standards, Google Admin console and Chrome Enterprise setup, organizational unit design, and policy
- Manage ChromeOS policy as code through the Chrome Policy API, GAM, and Terraform in a reviewed, tested, progressively rolled-out configuration pipeline
- Build zero-touch enrollment through resellers for Chromebooks shipped to vendor partners in every relevant country
- Work with IT Operations and procurement on international device purchasing and shipping
- Design kiosk, managed guest session, shared-device, and assigned-device models for vendor teams
- Implement controls for copy and paste, downloads, printing, USB, apps, and extensions
- Own vendor fleet device lifecycle from enrollment through wipe, lock, and retrieval
- Feed ChromeOS device data into fleet telemetry and track check-ins, OS versions, and configuration drift
- Partner with Corporate Security on hardware standards, Verified Access attestation, device trust signals, and access decisions
- Develop contractor access and vendor identity models while keeping Anthropic data off vendor devices
- Run data loss controls through Chrome Enterprise Premium
- Support Android Enterprise and zero-touch enrollment as a second platform
- Write runbooks for IT Operations and vendor partners to launch new programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
- ChromeOS platform ownership experience for fleets of thousands of devices
- Strong knowledge of Google Admin console and Chrome Enterprise, including OU design, device and user policy, enrollment, and reporting
- Experience automating ChromeOS policy through the Chrome Policy API or GAM
- Experience running kiosk, managed guest, or shared device programs
- Experience setting up zero touch enrollment with resellers and shipping devices across several countries
- Working knowledge of Android device management
- Python and shell scripting
- Google Admin SDK, Chrome Policy API, and GAM
- Android Enterprise management
- Querying live device state at fleet scale
- GitOps and CI for configuration management
- Endpoint security fundamentals
- Ability to address ambiguous, cross-functional problems
