About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, document, and execute NetSuite development tasks in an agile team process managed in Atlassian Jira
- Deliver SuiteScript code and designs following software development best practices, prioritizing root-cause fixes
- Design and implement unit, integration, and regression test coverage for critical customizations and integrations
- Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools for SuiteScript, integration, and test development
- Help define standards for shipping AI-assisted changes and SOX/ITGC change-management evidence
- Contribute architecture decision records, coding standards, and integration documentation
- Partner with the NetSuite Administrator to audit and govern roles, permissions, workflows, and bundle usage
- Assist in developing, architecting, and supporting scalable NetSuite integrations
- Collaborate with business users across Supply Chain & Logistics, Financial Systems, and Member Experience to translate requirements into durable solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years NetSuite development and/or administration experience
- Experience working in an Agile methodology and task management system
- Hands-on experience across NetSuite script types (User Event, Client, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet, etc.)
- Experience writing automated tests in any language or framework
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in day-to-day development
- Understanding of core business processes and best practices (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, etc.) and basic accounting principles
- Extensive integration experience (iPaaS, API, or direct point-to-point) with a solid understanding of system authentication methods
- Comfort working within NetSuite's configuration/admin layer (roles, permissions, saved searches)
- Attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication and collaboration skills
