About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shape the Project Management Practice management strategy and plan
Engage practice members and stakeholders in executing the strategy
Collaborate with Product, IT, FIT, and Operations to align practice plans with organizational direction
Support portfolio and programme leadership with new project intake, demand sizing, deal pricing, investment decisions, and demand-supply alignment
Coach and develop approximately 10 Scrum Masters and project managers
Define talent management strategies, hire intelligently, and maintain succession plans for senior roles
Represent PMO/Change leadership as a senior member based in an India office
Drive improvements in staff satisfaction based on survey feedback
Participate in lessons learned to improve project management processes
Shape Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery best practices and standards
Participate in gate reviews and support competency development
Develop and implement resourcing strategies
Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding
Monitor and optimize resource allocation
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and IT and data security standards
Partner with the Programme Director for the Automation and AI Portfolio
Drive maturity of a scaled Agile delivery model and optimize individual and team performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Appropriate professional qualifications such as SAFe, Scrum and/or PMI certifications
10+ years of overall delivery leadership experience
8+ years of experience in Agile delivery
Experience progressing beyond a Scrum Master level role to a Release Train Engineer/Manager of a team of Scrum Masters or Agile Coach
Experience hiring and developing industry professionals, particularly Scrum Masters
Preference for experience working on Automation and AI initiatives
Expert knowledge of Agile delivery methods, frameworks, and associated tooling such as Azure DevOps
Experience using hybrid and waterfall delivery methods
Expert project management knowledge, skills, and experience
Excellent leadership, team management, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to collaborate with globally dispersed technical and non-technical teams
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
