About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct and coordinate service delivery on assigned account portfolios
- Serve as key point of contact for internal business partners and stakeholders
- Serve as key contact for servicing brokers and provide a differentiated customer service experience
- Handle complex tasks and escalated issues, including account review and triage, policy issuance, rating preparation, billing, and CRITs resolution
- Serve as lead and subject matter expert to Underwriting Operations teams
- Provide direction, problem resolution, work distribution, training, and quality assurance
- Develop and nurture relationships with Underwriters, Operations, Global Service Operations, IT, and other partners
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards
- Maintain account files and documentation
- Participate in projects as needed
- Utilize LEAN principles and methodology to continuously improve processes and procedures
- Support NAC, Middle Market Construction, and Specialty business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commercial Account Service experience/prior relevant insurance industry experience
- Multi-line, admitted commercial P&C experience highly desired
- Demonstrated expertise in Workers Compensation, Auto, General Liability, Umbrella, and Excess Liability
- Strong customer service orientation with ability to operationalize customer needs
- Ability to manage competing demands
- Ability to influence outcomes
- Strong ability to develop and nurture relationships with key partners
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- 5+ years’ experience working in same or related field preferred
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Insurance designation preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of SmartSheets, ImageRight, PolicyWriter, Policy Decisions, or other insurance policy issuance platforms desired
