About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the growth and risk management of the bank’s Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, and Working Capital Solutions business through trade asset distribution and trade credit insurance activities
- Develop investor and insurer relationships
- Support transaction execution
- Optimize portfolio risk and enhance capital efficiency
- Work closely with Origination, Credit, Treasury, Legal, Operations, and external market participants
- Support distribution of trade finance and working capital assets to banks, financial institutions, institutional investors, and trade asset managers
- Develop and maintain relationships with distribution partners and investor networks
- Assist in structuring and executing participations, assignments, and other risk transfer transactions
- Monitor market appetite, pricing, liquidity, and investor requirements
- Partner with Origination and Credit teams on risk distribution and portfolio optimization opportunities
- Manage relationships with trade credit insurers, brokers, and underwriters
- Support placement, renewal, and ongoing management of trade credit insurance programs
- Negotiate policy terms, pricing, limits, and coverage enhancements
- Monitor insurance capacity utilization, portfolio concentrations, and insurer performance
- Evaluate insurance solutions supporting growth, risk mitigation, and capital efficiency
- Assess credit, operational, and transaction risks associated with trade and supply chain finance structures
- Perform portfolio analysis and identify emerging risks, trends, and concentrations
- Support transaction approvals with distribution- and insurance-related risk assessments
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, controls, and governance requirements
- Monitor competitive developments, investor demand, insurer appetite, and market trends
- Contribute ideas to enhance product competitiveness, scalability, and profitability
- Improve processes, controls, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Assist in developing portfolio reporting, analytics, and management information
- Support governance and documentation requirements
- Promote best practices and disciplined execution across the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6-10+ years of experience in Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Working Capital Solutions, Trade Credit Insurance, Risk Distribution, Credit Risk, or related fields
- Existing relationships within financial institutions, trade asset managers, trade credit insurance providers, and insurance brokers
- Strong understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment
- Strong understanding of trade and supply chain finance structures
- Strong understanding of risk transfer and distribution strategies
- Strong understanding of trade credit insurance products and underwriting considerations
- Strong understanding of working capital and liquidity solutions
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to independently assess risks and exercise sound judgment
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in portfolio analytics, reporting, and transaction management
