About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute near- and long-term frontbook growth strategies for the Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s CLUB Program
- Lead a team of analysts and collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Bass Pro Shops partner team
- Identify and address leverage opportunities across marketing, product, technology, credit, and operations
- Develop business strategies driving growth, profitability, and competitive success
- Manage and develop analysts through coaching and mentoring
- Develop and implement product and pricing strategies for lending products
- Lead product-level data modeling and analytics
- Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic intent for retail-channel products
- Build targeted insights for new customer experiences, technology, and go-to-market strategies
- Improve credit performance through trend analysis, risk modeling, hypothesis testing, monitoring, and analysis
- Manage delivery of business intent, build business requirements, and execute product strategy
- Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
- Partner with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other Capital One teams to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
- At least 4 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
- At least 2 years of experience performing people management
- At least 2 years of experience performing project management
- Proven track record of analytical decision-making and problem-solving
- Strong quantitative orientation
- Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity
- People leadership experience and ability to build high-performing teams
- Strong executive written and oral communication skills
- Strategic influencing, interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Ability to achieve short- and long-term goals in uncertain and fluid environments
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment
