About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and negotiate supplier contracts and commercial terms
- Manage contract renewals and support the end-to-end contract lifecycle
- Support supplier onboarding and ensure required documentation is completed
- Partner with stakeholders, suppliers and Legal teams to progress contracting activities
- Maintain contract records and associated documentation
- Provide commercial and market insights to support supplier decisions
- Manage supplier relationships and support supplier performance activities
- Support procurement initiatives that deliver value, efficiency and risk management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management or supplier management
- Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and supplier agreements
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier engagement
- Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Good commercial judgement and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting supplier onboarding activities is desirable
- Understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions is desirable
- Experience working within a procurement function is desirable
- Knowledge of contract management systems is desirable
- Working towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional qualification such as CIPS is desirable
- No degree required; experience, judgement, willingness to learn and relationship-building ability are valued
