About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure that the maintenance shop meets the needs of IBC Management
- Repair specific mechanical failures as needed
- Ensure scheduled repairs are completed and adjust schedules to meet emergencies
- Train mechanics on equipment specifics
- Manage facility housekeeping to required standards
- Perform other duties as directed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Have attended a vocational technical institution studying various skilled trades or have worked in a construction environment
- Electrical background preferred
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Knowledge of pump and industrial equipment rebuilding and repair experience
- Professional oral and written interpersonal communication
- 3-5 years of mechanical experience
- Experience in general maintenance and good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and follow direction
- Industrial and Commercial work experience is a plus
- Exposure to various skilled trades, including mechanical and electrical
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the application of using steam through associated piping to maintain product temperatures as required by manufacturer specifications
