Key responsibilities & impact- Develop forward-looking software and infrastructure architecture deployable into a Linux-based Common Computing Environment (CCE) PaaS
- Improve the software and infrastructure build process
- Set up and configure hardware/software test environments

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience
- Secret security clearance preferred at time of hire
- Must meet U.S. Government eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must be local to the area and able to work onsite up to 2 days a week
- Experience architecting infrastructure within the SWFTS environment
- Experience integrating containerized software applications in Kubernetes or another container runtime
- Advanced troubleshooting of software, infrastructure, and systems-level problems
- Experience with automated testing for deploying and managing custom containerized applications and open-source tools and components
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles in prototype and production software development
- Experience with Ansible IaC, Java Spring Boot, Python, or Kubernetes
- Experience generating Docker container files from scratch
- Experience with Bash scripting
- Previous or current leadership roles within an integrated product team structure
- Understanding of cluster networking and design
- In-depth experience in at least two of: building and consuming RESTful APIs; Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
