About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with healthcare professionals across Chennai
- Build and maintain respectful, professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare partners
- Develop and execute a territory business plan guided by customer insight and local patient needs
- Share clear and accurate science-based information to support healthcare professionals’ decision-making
- Record and report activities, outcomes, and customer insights using company systems and tools
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions to address customer needs and improve patient access
- Expand knowledge of clinical evidence, market trends, and ways to enhance performance
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution
- Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience in field sales, medical business, or territory management
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil
- Basic digital skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Right to work in India
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare-related roles is a plus
- Comfortable discussing clinical evidence and explaining scientific concepts to healthcare professionals is a plus
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills are a plus
- Ability to use customer insight and simple data to guide activities and priorities is a plus
- Fluency in local languages spoken in and around Chennai is a plus
- High motivation to learn, adapt, and take on increasing responsibility is a plus
