Verify and complete service records, including addresses, hours, contact details, costs, insurance, and other data-model tags.
Label services against screening criteria, quoting evidence for each answer.
Find unlisted services while building each new location.
Identify services that do not fit the data model and explain why.
Work with the Services Research Manager to grow the mental health services directory.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Based in the US (ideally NYC).
Available for approximately 20 hours a week, set with the Services Research Manager.
Research experience where accuracy mattered and sources had to be cited, such as at a 211 or resource directory, in fact-checking, on a civic data team, or in a library.
Comfortable contacting unfamiliar organizations and getting clear answers.
Able to follow a written procedure closely and identify when it does not fit the findings.
Organized in spreadsheets and careful with details.
Comfortable with AI tools and able to check their output before trusting it.
Spanish or another language besides English is nice to have.
Training in social work, counseling, or public health, or experience working in mental health services is nice to have.
