About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide personal care, including washing, applying creams, and other hygiene tasks
- Help around clients’ homes and perform light housekeeping
- Assist with meal preparation
- Provide companionship, including reading to clients and watching their favourite shows
- Provide medication reminders and administration
- Help clients get ready for the day or into bed at night
- Provide care to clients in their own homes across the service area
Requirements
What you’ll need- Caring, warm-hearted, and compassionate nature
- Perceptive and responsive to changing client needs
- Good listening and observational skills
- Positive attitude and passion for helping others
- Openness to learning and gaining new knowledge or developing existing skills
- Reliable, dependable, and able to multitask
- Ability to remain calm and keep a cool head
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Good grasp of the English language
