Key responsibilities & impact- Drive operational efficiency, high performance, and innovation through revenue cycle analytics, process improvement, technological advancement, and project management
- Interpret and manage revenue cycle data for access, validity, pertinence, and timely reporting
- Analyze hospital financial and operational data to improve enterprise-wide revenue cycle efficiency and best-practice performance
- Deliver timely, reliable, and meaningful analytics through reporting mechanisms
- Provide strategic and technical expertise to identify and improve financial opportunities in revenue cycle operations
- Design and develop reporting packages and dashboards for denial prevention, labor management, quality control, late charge prevention, and productivity management
- Manage complex enterprise revenue cycle process improvement initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, root cause analysis, and execution plans
- Manage complex revenue cycle technical projects, including project plans, scope changes, risk identification, and contingency plans
- Investigate revenue cycle market and technology trends; recommend innovative products and services; perform comparative and ROI analyses
- Manage revenue cycle vendor contract compliance and performance
- Supervise the revenue cycle analytical team
- Report to the System Vice President, Revenue Cycle
- Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years of advanced revenue cycle data management and analytical experience
- 10 years of practical revenue cycle experience
- 7 years of vendor management experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, and Tableau
- Epic experience preferred
