About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach SAT students onsite, in person, at various locations throughout NYC, including Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx
- Deliver exam preparation and educational content tailored to student needs
- Prepare students using carefully curated curriculum and SAT score-boosting strategies
- Support students in and out of class with critical thinking and logic
- Use data to close the opportunity gap for underrepresented students
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Teach and tutor college-bound students virtually when opportunities arise
- Complete training and class preparation remotely
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum ten-month commitment to the role
- Weekday afternoon availability during the school year
- Minimum of 15 hours per week
- Scores within the 90th percentile of the SAT
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work independently with a remote manager
- Proof and/or copies of SAT scores as part of the application
- Ability to work independently
