About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write and secure LNA product specifications with key specification influencers
- Establish relationships at A & E firms through design assistance, implementing Legrand Master Spec, and continuing education seminars
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders at electrical contractors through design assistance, Legrand Solution Training, and project management
- Establish relationships with major end users in key verticals
- Collaborate with the entire Legrand sales force
- Support the local sales team at targeted distribution partners through business reviews, training, and trade shows
- Maximize sales tools, including daily CRM software usage
- Utilize training and materials to support sales activities
- Optimize time and territory management
- Perform other similar and related duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction industry experience
- Minimum 5 years of sales and/or marketing excellence or 10 plus years' experience in electrical, communications, construction, A/V technology, engineering, architecture, or interior design
- Proficient in negotiation and influencing skills
- Professional selling skills and ability to creatively demonstrate new product concepts
- Ability to lead project teams through the Construction Sales Process
- Ability to assist with specification documents, engineering drawings, and submittals
- Ability to perform engineering and budgetary analysis, specification writing, and takeoff assistance
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, e-mail, and meeting management software
- Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively
- Effective one-on-one and group presentation skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and industry contacts
