About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive and shape LPL’s multi-year AI strategy roadmap
- Partner with enterprise strategy, AI product, and technology leaders
- Translate strategic direction into product and technology roadmaps
- Tie AI strategy to prioritization and funding decisions
- Own environmental scanning and competitive intelligence for the AI landscape
- Guide build-versus-buy, pricing, monetization, and AI deployment operating-model decisions
- Serve as Portfolio Lead for the enterprise AI program
- Coordinate business, product, technology, risk, and legal stakeholders
- Surface execution risks and resolve cross-functional tradeoffs and blockers
- Track and report portfolio status, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes
- Engage risk and legal as early design partners
- Gain alignment across constituencies and accelerate organizational execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated experience owning AI strategy from a business seat, including translating strategic direction into funding and prioritization decisions executed by product and technology organizations
- Track record of gaining alignment across business, product, technology, risk, and legal stakeholders
- Fluency in build-versus-buy tradeoffs, pricing and monetization models for AI-enabled products, and AI deployment operating models
- Experience running environmental scanning and competitive intelligence as a decision-making input
- Direct experience as a program or initiative lead for cross-functional, multi-stakeholder efforts
- Balance of strategic agility and operational excellence
- Firsthand industry exposure to how AI is built, bought, priced, and deployed
- Ability to move fast across multiple aspects of the work without sequential handoffs
- BA/BS required
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus
