About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop an understanding of clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs
- Build and maintain relationships with underwriters and participate in placing sophisticated insurance programs
- Identify the need for new products and develop innovative client solutions
- Build and maintain client relationships as the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs
- Complete policy management activities and deliver reviewed policies to clients
- Address client inquiries
- Deliver technical expertise and lead presentations of RFPs
- Support Senior Advisors in placing and servicing environmental insurance policies
- Solicit, evaluate, negotiate and implement insurance quotations from insurers
- Present insurance recommendations to clients in proposals
- Service clients' environmental risk issues and manage insurance policies
- Participate in prospective client presentations and support new client and project acquisition
- Coordinate production and timely delivery of invoices, policies and endorsements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years of industry experience
- Casualty and Environmental experience preferred
- P&C license a must, or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to build strong relationships and build rapport with internal colleagues, clients and carriers
- Self-starter and resourcefulness with the ability to bring solutions and ideas to the firm
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
