About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and deliver Transaction Banking liquidity products within the United States
- Develop and manage strategic goals for Transaction Banking, focusing on virtual account management and on-balance-sheet deposit options
- Lead end-to-end product management and development of a new virtual account management product
- Support Deposits Product Management and client delivery teams with onboarding and system configuration inquiries
- Identify and communicate system issues to ensure a seamless client product experience
- Produce and monitor monthly KPI reports to manage P&L revenue targets and identify balance and revenue trends
- Vet sales opportunities, support new opportunities, and contribute to RFPs
- Create strategy presentations covering markets, product design, profitability, systems, operating expenditures, and capitalization
- Participate in product lifecycle activities, including approvals, marketing and sales materials, operating procedures, and representation to operations, project, and technology teams
- Leverage solutions across markets to improve time to market and customer experience
- Support business cases for technology investments
- Coordinate product development and enhancements among project managers, operations, client delivery, IT partners, and stakeholders
- Participate in weekend or after-hours application testing when required
- Monitor industry trends and evaluate enhancement opportunities
- Participate in product risk assessments and procedure reviews
- Identify and address product risk issues, including audit and self-identified remediation
- Assess regulatory implications of bank liquidity and effects on clients
- Collaborate with Transaction Banking teams in Tokyo and other regions on liquidity products, deposit portfolios, platforms, global priorities, and enterprise-wide initiatives
- Serve as a liaison between Transaction Banking Americas and Transaction Banking Division when needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ experience in product management, operations, service, or business analysis role in the wholesale/transaction banking market
- Knowledge of delivering Transaction Banking services to Asian corporate clients is preferred
- Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate across the institution and within the industry
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to prepare and deliver executive level presentations
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to execute complex and demanding situations
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Technical working knowledge of industry cash management standard payment file formats
- Understanding of investment vehicles such as money market mutual funds
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize own work
- Strong judgment and negotiation skills
- Strong skills in data gathering, analysis, and interpretation
- Familiarity with bank systems and online banking management
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Confluence or other collaboration platforms
- Ability to travel if required
