Key responsibilities & impact- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
- Identify market opportunities through customer feedback, competitive analysis, industry trends, and business objectives.
- Establish product goals, success metrics, and KPIs aligned with company priorities.
- Drive investment decisions and prioritization based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers.
- Establish product management best practices, processes, and standards.

- Partner closely with Engineering and Design teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release priorities.

- Support Agile development processes, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness activities.
- Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct customer interviews, advisory boards, usability reviews, and discovery sessions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
- Drive product adoption and customer satisfaction through continuous feedback loops.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services to ensure successful product launches and customer outcomes.
- Develop product positioning, enablement materials, and internal training.
- Communicate roadmap updates, release plans, and product performance to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Monitor product health using customer adoption, retention, revenue, and engagement metrics.
- Develop business cases for investments and strategic initiatives.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve product performance and market competitiveness.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with K12 budgeting
- 7+ years of product management experience.
- 2+ years of people leadership experience managing Product Managers.
- Experience leading software products through the full product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred: Experience with ERP, Finance, HR, Payroll, Student Information Systems, or Administrative Solutions.
- Preferred: Experience working with SaaS and cloud-native solutions.
- Preferred: Familiarity with product analytics and customer research methodologies.
