About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead real estate fund accounting and reporting service delivery across outsourced engagement teams
- Advise clients on fund-level accounting issues, reporting timelines, and transaction impacts across asset and wealth structures
- Manage delivery planning, workflow coordination, and issue resolution across close cycles and reporting deliverables
- Review financial statements, capital activity, allocation schedules, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Apply accounting knowledge to evaluate complex transactions, policies, and fund structures in managed services environments
- Direct process improvement efforts that streamline recurring reporting activities and strengthen delivery consistency
- Monitor service performance, delivery risk, and commercial obligations
- Develop team capability through coaching, feedback, and guidance on technical accounting tasks
- Communicate status updates, risks, and proposed solutions to clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify automation and digital tooling opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and data quality
- Lead large projects, advise clients strategically, direct teams through complexity, and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Administration/Management, Engineering
- Fund accounting and reporting experience within managed services environments
- Advanced systems thinking applied to real estate portfolio processes
- Ability to analyze operational performance and process improvement opportunities
- Ability to craft client-facing communications for complex reporting topics
- Ability to coach teams through ambiguity and changing priorities
- Ability to validate outcomes and adjust plans using client feedback
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
