About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own transaction and payment revenue and the revenue ledger
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to understand the product pipeline and its impact on revenue
- Prepare advanced balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist the Controller with global tax compliance, including transfer pricing
- Support the Controller with financial reporting and financial statement preparation
- Own additional responsibilities and ad hoc reporting, including assistance with statutory foreign audits or M&A activity
- Work remotely with a few expected in-person meetings in or near Austin, Texas
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the US and Europe
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years with a large US public accounting firm
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Highly proficient in NetSuite, Ramp, Excel, and Google Suite
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing global organization
- Clear and effective communication with multiple stakeholders in the US and Europe
- Demonstrated ability to deliver timely, high-quality work in a remote environment
- Experience managing a team
- Able to travel to the Amsterdam HQ 2–3 times a year
- Must reside in the US and have full legal right to work in the US through citizenship or residency
- No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance available
- Candidates residing in Alaska, California, Colorado, New York, or Washington are not eligible
