About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee daily operations of the clinic to ensure smooth workflow
- Support the multidisciplinary team through mentoring, coaching, and education
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and organizational standards
- Collaborate with leadership to improve efficiency and patient outcomes
- Facilitate health care services for patients in cooperation with the health care team
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care
- Coordinate care, assess patients, provide patient education, triage, and perform nursing interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Use technology to enhance patient care and collaborate with care teams
- Delegate to and supervise unlicensed personnel and assume nursing accountability for patient care
- Conduct new staff training and orientation
- Assist with performance improvement policy implementation and employee training
- Follow up with risk management and train clinical staff as needed
- Participate in department and organizational task forces and committees
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including programs accredited by CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Functions within the legal scope of practice
- Minimum of two years’ clinical experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred in Fargo, Fargo Network, Bemidji, Sioux Falls Network and Rapid City
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required in Bismarck and Sioux Falls (Sanford USD Medical Center and Clinics)
- Ability to work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, for 40 scheduled weekly hours
