Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze carrier service performance and build dashboards and analytic tooling for customer and primary transport on-time delivery
- Build cost dashboards and analytic tooling covering cost per lane, special services/accessorial costs, demurrage, detention, and dwell time
- Conduct root-cause analyses on service failures, delays, cost variances, and operational deviations
- Define preventive actions and model transport scenarios for network redesign, modal shifts, consolidation, and carrier mix decisions
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, throughput, pick/pack performance, dwell time, cost per pallet, and service levels
- Support implementation of supply chain visibility tooling/control tower
- Use AI and machine learning to create improvement models
- Partner with logistics operations to improve service and efficiency
- Set up data and reporting for LOTIF and transport performance to drive improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Analyze freight spend and warehouse cost drivers to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
- Benchmark regional 3PL performance and cost structures
- Build cost-control tooling with the Hub team to compare delivered services with invoices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in transport, logistics, or supply chain analytics—ideally in chemicals, industrials, or other regulated sectors
- Advanced analytical skills: Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SQL, or similar
- Skills and experience in AI tools and machine learning
- Experience with SAP, TMS
- Proven ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations
- Strong understanding of transport regulations (ADR, IMDG, CLP), chemical warehousing regulations and safe handling requirements
- Experience with network modelling tools (Llamasoft, Coupa, AIMMS) preferred
- Knowledge of sustainability metrics (CO₂ reporting, green logistics) preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred
- Exposure to S&OP or integrated business planning preferred
- Highly structured thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, global environment
- Curious, proactive, and always looking for better ways to do things
- Must be eligible to work in the EU area
