About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and train the grow team
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations with minimal management oversight
- Train employees and provide daily technique advice or assistance
- Lead and supervise a grow and forecast upcoming events
- Diagnose plant health issues, including toxicities, deficiencies, pests, and other problems, and determine appropriate solutions
- Navigate established work sites and complete necessary assigned tasks
- Monitor grow helpers and assistants, provide assistance, and report challenging problems to management
- Enter information into MJ Freeway and record data
- Maintain accurate inventory control for plants and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Able to work seated/standing for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent/constant hand and finger movements
- Able to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
- Visual acuity with/without job aids for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and visual inspection in day and night/dark conditions
- Able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, and others
