About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
- Handle customer material movement requests
- Oversee loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight and manage shipping documents and records
- Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight
- Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts
- Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
- Oversee and perform server rack placement on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
- Oversee and perform electronic component population and cabling installation in server racks following diagrams and schematics
- Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
- Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
- Perform and oversee cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
- Delegate and coach team members
- Interact with customers and onsite stakeholders to meet production goals accurately and efficiently
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of related experience
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
- Experience with computers
- Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must pass required federal/state/local government, airport, or company background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
- Ability to work flexibly and cross-train in multiple datacenter departments
