About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic judicial and arbitral proceedings in corporate and civil law, independently managing a portfolio of matters and maintaining direct client contact
- Draft highly complex legal documents, including extraordinary appeals, and deliver oral arguments
- Define litigation strategy with the practice partners
- Mentor and develop junior attorneys, trainees, and interns
- Participate in new-client origination and the preparation of fee proposals, with participation in results
- Represent the firm at events, in publications, and before industry associations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. or equivalent) and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- 8 to 15 years of experience in strategic civil and corporate litigation, with autonomous management of a portfolio of matters
- Established experience before higher courts or in arbitration proceedings
- Technical expertise aligned with complex litigation and arbitration matters
- Postgraduate degree, LL.M., or Ph.D. in Civil Procedure, Civil Law, Corporate Law, or Arbitration (preferred)
