About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review background investigation reports submitted by Field Investigators and Record Searchers for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
- Ensure investigations adhere to federal and corporate standard operating procedures and requirements
- Provide guidance on background investigation requirements to Field Investigators and Record Searchers
- Maintain quality production meeting contract requirements
- Identify error trends and communicate findings to Field Investigators, Record Searchers, and management
- Collaborate with review team members, Field Investigators, and Record Searchers to develop training and guidance that improves background investigation quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Secret Clearance
- Past completion of New Reviewer/Investigator Training course
- Ability to complete a pre-selection process, including 80% achievement on Credential Assessment if needed
- Work experience as a Case Reviewer supporting the specific agency required
- Ability to obtain and/or currently hold a PIV and/or CAC card if needed
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation, teamwork attitude, impeccable work ethic, integrity, and a can-do attitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internet search capabilities
- Excellent time management and administrative skills
- Deep sense of mission and commitment in support of national security
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Prior agency-specific experience in a review capacity or investigations role preferred
- Prior experience reviewing agency-specific federal background investigation reports preferred
